Avatar 3D

Tonight was my first time watching a 3d movie. Avatar is supposed to be the biggest budget movie ever and the effects showed- it was a very pretty film. The actual plot itself was pretty good- the trailers made it look awful, but the story itself was entertaining. One reviewer called it a mix of Fern Gully and Pocahontas, which it was, but it was much better than either earlier cartoon. The theme was a hippys wetdream of tree hugging environmentalism and a bit cheesy, but it was still fun.
