Michael Irvin Understands Online Reputation Management
While perusing ESPN yesterday, I ran across the following quote by Michael Irvin, the Hall of Fame NFL wide receiver: “I think it would’ve helped some of them understand that if you make a mistake at 22, you could end up regretting it at 42,” Irvin said. “You got Google and everything out there now, [...]
Flag Football 1st Round Victory
My flag football team, the Screamin’ Eagles and I just won the first game of the playoffs yesterday. In two weeks we will play in the semi-finals game and if we win that, the Championship game. Woohoo!
Undefeated!
My flag football team has now completed the regular season undefeated… barely. The ‘Screamin Eagles’ were 5-0 coming into the game against the 0-5 ‘Fighting Missionaries’ (don’t ask me who comes up with team names). We thought it would be a breeze, but it turned into our hardest fought battle. They played man defense and [...]
Underdog Sports League- Flag Football
Those of you have been reading my blog for quite some time know that I play flag football through the Underdog Sports Leagues in Seattle. Flag football is the sport I have the most fun playing these days and I now am in the midst of my fourth season. Our team, the “Screaming Eagles” (terrible [...]
Flag Football Domination
My flag football squad I have played with for three seasons is starting to get really good. After our win tonight, we are now 3-0. Our first game we won 34-0, our second game 31-19 and tonight we won by 21 points.
The game tonight was a lot of fun, but I [...]
SuperBowl Victory By Giants
Eli Manning led the giants to a shocking victory over the Patriots in the SuperBowl today. The Patriots had gone 18-0 this season, steamrolling every team. But when pretty boy Tom Brady started getting hit by the best defensive line in football, he couldn’t handle it. The result was a Giants win 17-14.
SuperBowl
Off to the wonderful Superbowl of Oz…
My prediction is New England Patriots 35- New York Giants 17.
Patriots have an 85% chance of winning the game.
SuperBowl Sunday: Undefeated New England Patriots vs. Upstart New York Giants
The SuperBowl is on Sunday and fans all across the world are planning SuperBowl parties. Nick Fitzer invited me to his friends party at a bar the guy’s dad owns in Tacoma. I am thinking I will probably do that so I can visit my brothers or grandparents while I’m down there. [...]
Seattle SuperSonics Need To Shut UP!
I don’t care and have never cared about the Supersonics. I do not want to have to pay them more money out of my damned pocket so that their 17 fans in Seattle can continue to watch them.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, in 2006 a group of businessmen from Oklahoma City purchased [...]
Can’t Miss Bowl Games
College football’s bowl season is now upon upon us. The system that the NCAA currently has in place is badly broken, so there will be many games that aren’t worth watching. However, there are still a few pretty good ones if you have the time. Check out below:
December 27, 2007- Pacific Life Holiday Bowl at [...]
