China Should Never Have Been Given The Olympics
The Olympics are not about totalitarian governments that send their citizens to “re-education through labor” camps, but that is what China has turned it into. China designated three zones near Beijing as “official protest zones” and 77 people applied to protest and they were all turned down. Many of them have disappeared and two of them, both elderly women in their seventies, have been sentenced to a year in “re-education through labor” camps.
Why on earth would China ever have been allowed to host the Olympics? It’s almost as bad as giving Zimbabwe or North Korea the Olympics!
