Classic Literature Vs. Modern Education

Stanley Fish of the NYTimes wrote an interesting article on the decline of classical education and Jeremy wrote a reply to it here and I commented on it at the bottom. I love the great classics, but I don’t necessarily think that they are the most effective means today of opening the minds and hearts of our youths. What do you think?
