I have read Joel’s books and listen to his sermons. I have defended him and his beliefs until I read this interview. Ninety nine percent of what is said is true and wonderful..but 1% is false. You cannot serve two masters. You are a Christian or a sinner and if you are Muslin or Jewish, you have not accepted Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. I “assumed” when Joel holds up the Bible and says every word of it is true..that He believed it. John 14:6: Jesus answered: No one comes to the Father except through me. This scripture is on the list of others that he quotes from God’s Word in his book..yet in his interview with LK he does not say you cannot get to Heaven without acceting Jesus. This makes him a false prophet. I do pray he will go back on larry King and tell the world Jesus is the only way and ANYONE that does not choose HIM is a sinner. He plainly said in his interview we either go to Heaven or Hell. Only the Holy Spirit can draw the sinner..but we must be correct in presenting God’s Word. We are not judging when we say all sinners (those not choosing to accept Jesus Christ as their personel Savior) will go to Hell..not Heaven.

I feel sorry for the publishers of these articles. But With Success comes Jealousy. I will pray for the people that wrote this.After all, It is not by accident that Joel Osteen has gathered all these loyal supporters. It was his calling. His positive attitude is globally appealing.

I watch Joel on TV and read his one book on inspirational passages and I am moved by him. I still continue to attend my Catholic Church and he directs people to find a good church and attend it at the end of all his programs.

Many churches are just as corrupt…they have all become big business. Joel Olsteen inspires hope and raises peoples spirits…something the Catholic Church does not do for too many people. I hear him mention God and Jesus Christ all the time so I don’t know what you are listening too. I do not send him any money and I don’t give to the Catholic Church either other than a buck or two when I have it. But I think his message is fabulous and he has lifted me out of a depression I have had for the past 8 years.

I would like to say even though I am not a church goer that I do believe in God with all my heart That anyone that picks and downs Joel is NOT UNDERSTANDING that GOD will use different people in different ways AND who are you to say who is right or wrong Different people will read anything eeven the Bible and take it differently Let it be up to GOD to judge If he is helping people in his own way let it be you sure aren’t helping anyone but making them feel negative and who says we all have to believe the same way COME ON GET REAL !!!! That is why we have so many problems in the world This country does’nt like that one or another because they believe different then us The middle east hates us because we don’t believe like them Catholis think they are right SDa thinks they are right Its all nonsense The only thing that will get throgh the mess is to LOVE one another and accept each other (unless they are really doing a act or muder or something awful) Keep it up Joel The world needs you U are postive God is using you in a different way LYNN

I think who ever wrote this is on the devils side because God will use people to talk in alot of different ways and what Joel speaks is what alot of people needed to hear or the church would not be so big There will always be someone to downfall instead of up lifting Alot peole dont go to school to be a preacher but they can do God’s work and he is in his own way trying to make people have hope and feel instead of OH AINT LIFE AWFUL THANK GOD AND PRAISE THE LORD FOR JOEL and I don’t even go to church or belong to anything but when I listen to him I feel like a happy hopeful person and who knows I might even grow because of it THANK YOU GOD AND THANK YOU JOEL FOR YOUR PART !!! who are you, and why are you so negative? nothing that you have said is valid, you pulled quotes from a conversation, and that is all it is, you point out your own opinion, and again, that is at it is… i watch joel ministry often, and he always speaks of GOD, and scriptures. To put it plainly, your mind is just closed off becouse you’ve already formed your own opionion. Above when you talk about him condememing people who don’t believe the way he does, we’ll as a christian, that is not our job, is only God’s job to condemn, all we are supposed to do, is open our hearts, and pray. If we have a gift such a Joel to be inspiring and uplifting, then why not. I try to listen to Joel every chance i get, and believe me i hear everything i need to hear about the message of God. His message leads me right to the place where i need to be at that exact moment, and sets the week off right….. You should be a little more open minded, and get in a good faith based church, and soon you will recognize what his message is saying a little better, before you go talking about something that maybe you know nothing about… i will pray for you though. wow!!!

everyone needs to know God for himself , and have a personal relationship with his son, we cannot go about blaming a pastor for when Christ returns what are going to say , the pastor didnt tell me about you hello the bible is there for everyone to read but then again that is human nature we just love to judge others God is the only judge if he is doing good with the money helping others , why is people so angry we need to understand money is only paper and will soon be goneone is bless ,to share with others

WE BELIEVE…every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.

WE BELIEVE…as children of God, we are overcomers and more than conquerors and God intends for each of us to experience the abundant life He has in store for us.

This was taken from the Lakewood church website where Joel Olsteen Pastors. Looks like they believe exactly what the bibles says. Have you ever counted how many people have recieved Christ into there life, and thier life now show’s fruit of the Holy Spirit through the misistry of Lake Wood. The word of God say’s “you shall know a tree by its fruit” Bad tree bad fruit, good tree good fruit!

Have any of you that are against Joel Olsteen ever been a Pastor, had to preach, in the spot light? If you never have then how can you even make a comment about something you have never done!

You make comments about his finances, what about yours? Lets look at your credit card reciepts, check book, bank accounts, internet records, reasturaunt reciepts, etc. What would we find??
By the way he does not take a Salary!
