Monkey Man Mark Rody

My best friend in high school, Mark Rody, found himself a wife and mostly disappeared off the radar during and after college, but I fortunately managed to get him to come up a couple of weeks ago to go to a Seattle Mariner’s game with me.  Visible Technologies, the company I work for, set up the event which included happy hour at Tiki Bobs then all of us walking across the street to Safeco Field for the game.  My company lets us bring one guest, which I think is more intended for spouses and girlfriends, but I typically just bring my buddies.  Unless I have an actual girflriend, it feels strange to bring some random girl.  Sorta like introducing them to your family.  Plus, my friends (Plato especially) usually are able to get more out of a night of corporate carousing than the girls I know could lol.

   Mark’s look says it all; “Why did Joel invite me to this night where all his co-workers are bringing significant others. Is he trying to tell me something. What is he going to do with all these pictures? I hope he doesn’t have a room in his shady apartment dedicated to me. He keeps talking about how beautiful the sunset is. I think I’m going to leave soon.”

   Basically that was it.

   Jordan is very observant and intelligent. I just hope that I find Joel’s eery lab and dispose of all inside before it’s too late for me.
