Preventable Deaths

It seems to me that media sensationalism makes too big a deal out of most terrorist attacks in America. Of course an attack on the Boston marathon is extremely high profile and scary so it receives a lot of coverage.

I think we have a lot of preventable problems that aren’t as exciting as terrorism but are far more deadly. For example, 115 people die every day in car accidents and thousands more are seriously injured. Or the deaths from smoking.
