Seattle Thursday Art Walk

Last night, Fletcher and I went on the artwalk. On the first Thursday of every month, all the art galleries downtown open their doors and let people peruse for free. Many of the art studios serve wine and snacks and there are tons of interesting people to talk to, including the artists themselves.

My favorite art of the evening was done by an artist named Jessica Geiger. She makes mostly miniature clay sculptures depicting the outcasts of society. Many of them are really messed up… such as a piece titled”First Love” and has a young girl sitting at home on her computer with a message on the screen saying, “You sound really nice, we should meet up soon.” lol.
