Why Banks Suck

Do you ever wonder why all the banks suck so much? Why their fees are so high, customer service so awful, and managed incompetently? Why their top executives are able to line their pockets with millions of your dollars while they make bad decisions?

Competition is severely restricted. It is almost impossible to start a bank in America because of the epic amount of regulations preventing new banks.  So now we have just a few banks that are “too big to fail”.  Remove obstacles from entrepreneurs and allow competition in banking and we will have a far healthier country.

  1. Hey Joel,

Came across your blog while looking up things on Bank of America. Gotta say that we agree with a lot of what you’re saying. We’re a sketch comedy team based here in NYC. Nick got screwed over by CitiBank while seeking a forbearance on his student loan, and we decided to write a sketch making fun of how evil the banks were. It would mean a lot to us it if you would check it out and, if you think it fits with your message, post it on your blog.
